ok people, soliciting opinions: is this over the top? i'm sure i'll end up with something slighty more traditonal, but still modern-ish. i was looking @ these for the longest time, but mostly out of fear of rising gas prices.. sure, they've got [questionable] practicality, but.. good looking they ain't.

Jas...I love my ceiling fan, i would definitely get one...whether it looks like a spaceship propeller is your choice but we put them in all of the bedrooms this summer and it was awesome..my recommendation is YES!
