so damn Shiny it hurts

a Firefly MMO is in the works. Soooo many ways to take this idea.. i imagine the endgame would be the mystery of the academy River was being experimented on, and the whole Blue Sun corp/ Blue-Handed guys deal. but as a whole 'Verse.. everyone cant be Mal, i assume they'd play heroes you quest from/ with maybe.. maybe even choose sides, alliance /browncoat /reaver even.. man playing a Reaver could be so cool.. all crazy and maybe out for revenge or something. roll a Companion, heh.. easy money..
man i scared myself a little- just thought.. would it be better played out in books/ comics/ graphic novels? sthey've got rights.. what % of serenity addicts crossover to MMO players? is that FAIR to them to have the verse's mysteries played out on an admittedly narrower focus audience? and about that too- who's writing for the game? if it ISN'T Joss, well.. hm. i was so jazzed.. what if they fuck it up?

-funny aside: oddly enough, earlier today i was in the grocery store, in the cereal/ granola section, and found myself singing the 'fruity oaty bars' jingle. ;)
