exacerbating the problem

one thing that i've noticed over the past two days is the need to turn everything's VOLUME WAY UP. phones, tv, computer.. even though i'm sure i just need to readjust from the past week's LOUD events, i'm still getting paranoid about the buzzings i hear now and then, and having to turn everything to 2x normal volume.
the fact that that ringtone meme [did i really not blog that? weird] was so recent isn't helping anything, either. so not only am i a quad, but i'm going deaf, too! [insert 100 rabbit joke here, yea thx]

FLICKR set here. not much really.. some.. interesting shots of the eggroll tag team [i think it helped they never realized i was taking pictures at the time], the peeps in the backyard, and lots of olivia.. shes so CUTE! never got random balloon-toting child so stop for a pic tho, sad. incidentally, did anyone figure out who she was???? she was cute too.

Futurama Renewed for 13 New Episodes

Comedy Central has ordered 13 new episodes of the animated series that Fox canceled two years ago. Billy West, Katey Segal and other stars signed deals this week to return the show to TV. In getting a second life, "Futurama" is following the path taken by "Family Guy," which also found post-cancellation success on DVD and cable reruns.

Soon the competition for Most Ignorance became fierce. No one had ever seen ER, Law and Order, Lost, Desperate Housewives, it went on and on. We felt like fucking Kings! We were miles and miles above the Common Man. We knew Nothing of Anything popular and mainstream!

an aside: comics wise, so far, its civil war over d.c.'s 52.. but thats qualitaive; 52 is a comic a week for a year.. lots more room for exposition, albeit alongside the 'one year later' comics.. civ war has 7 issues to start and finish, altho it has the sideways comic tie ins also.
