rock the vo..

..ting machine, in my case. SO.. i roll into my local polling place, and after a slight mixup by the first registrar lady [she didnt realize the "O-apostrophe" names come first, *then* the "Ob"s..], I look around and see they didn't have an accessible booth set up. No worries, as I'm waved over to the far side of the room to another table.. but of course something's always bound to happen- to get there, I gotta squeeze between the vote-taking machine and a table that's awkwardly jutting out into the room. Moving around said table, I took one solid push to coast over to the spot open, when *BANNNGGGG*. My right wheel slams into the vote-taking machine at the apex of that big push. F'N HILARIOUS. "That's the most action we've seen all day!" they said. :) Finished and left without a hitch.. but I did notice Gar couldn't stop laughing the rest of the time we were there ;) me either really.
Oh and MAN was it hot in there.
Ick it was last time too, in March for the primaries [sp: primarys?].
ICK. oh yeah, March was gross. Long narrow hallway to polling place + public restroom facing into hallway = ZOMGVOTENOWKTHXBI

no, no, NO

they got it all wrong..
Fossil remains show dolphins and whales were four-footed land animals about 50 million years ago and share the same common ancestor as hippos and deer. Scientists believe they later transitioned to an aquatic lifestyle and their hind limbs disappeared.

Though odd-shaped protrusions have been found near the tails of dolphins and whales captured in the past, researchers say this was the first time one had been found with well-developed, symmetrical fins, Hayashi said.

"I believe the fins may be remains from the time when dolphins' ancient ancestors lived on land ... this is an unprecedented discovery," Seiji Osumi, an adviser at Tokyo's Institute of Cetacean Research, said at a news conference televised Sunday.
see, they've got it all backwards- they've caught a *future* dolphin; a progenitor, as it were. they don't know what they've done! the dolphins won't stand for an unmitigated assassination.. surely retaliation is imminent- somebody recomission SeaQuest!
eh, who am i kidding.. that episode of the simpsons with Snarky the Dolphin has already shown us our bleak future under dolphin rule..
i, for one, welcome our dolphin overlords.
