i hate politics.. just wanted to post up this link. things will get worse before they get better, guaranteed. call me a conspiracy theorist, a hippie, whatever; the state of this nation could be much better than the sad state it's in now, that's all.. and the polls seem to show that a majority of the american public is tired of the bush [rove? cheney?] branded kool-aid.

A reporter from PC Magazine showed up at a Sony event in NYC where the company was displaying their new AR laptop and mobile pc. While there, Sony was playing a Blu-ray DVD, "The House of Flying Daggers." But when the reporter ejected the DVD, it was really a DVD-R! Sony wasn't too happy.

hm. my niece is closing in on that age.. maybe it's time to transition her over to pc games/ harder console games.. she's already decent at stuff like marble blast ultra, and likes spiderman and sly cooper.. her dad has already let her have a run at rainbow six online ;), so i'm not pushing the violence any *more*, and it's all she wants to do anywhere when she's over.. hehehomg i've got my own little annarchy!

6.0mp, 10x optical zoom.. long story short: my mom specifically asked me to give her my digital camera for her birthday [having broke hers, and liking the whole lcd-flipping deal mine has]. so what's the obvious thing to do? replacement, of course. i get a new toy, she gets her birthday wish, everybody's happy ;)
oh and i found it online for 130$ under retail, too.
and 10x zoom is COOL. heheh
