FINALLY..

i'm back to the internets. still a smallish pile of boxes to unpack, but i'm pretty much moved in. i had a long-winded, verbose, and enfuriated post put together about how comcast are a bunch of royal fuckups.. but whatever. *my* house ain't a home without 8mbps/sec.

fitting

Small Town
You scored 18 out of 40 on urban-rural and 22 out of 40 land intensity.
People know you as: The Dr. Kennicott Wannabe

Quote: "Things aren’t like they used to be."

You’re like the character Will Kennicott in the novel "Main Street". Your score indicates that you prefer a rural atmosphere to an urban one, but at moderately high land intensity. You think small towns where people know and care for one another are marvelous places to live. If you’ve ever lived in a small town before you’re probably older than the normal demographic here at okCupid. If you haven’t ever lived in a small town before, you should try it. You’ll like it better than the suburb you live in now, and the town’s economy could sure use you.

Examples of places you should live: Montpelier, VT; La Junta, CO

EN FUEGO

MAN do i love it when she wakes up, comes downstairs, and meddles right as im going to bed.. now im all adrenalized and wont fall asleep til its time to get out of bed, which in turn just fucking kills my morning and any hope of productivity til around 3.. which is more than 1/2way throught the business day and
and theres so. much. goddamn. shit. to. get. fucking. done.
and its my last week here but i havent got anything done for the latter half of the past month or so cuz mrz spends the night over on the couch for 4-5 nights at a stretch* but since shes always busy he's always hovering around and i cant get phone business done while im completely distracted coming up with droll small talk with someone 51 years my senior with maybe 2% shared interests with; not to mention i can't 'make a mess' with company around but hello. im a perpetual 4'8"/4'9" whatever and those mini moving boxes are basically all i can handle so that means using the couch tops and using every available risen surface and how can all that get done when as soon as i leave a room it gets 'cleaned up'? since when is moving a clean undertaking? esp with me- no thumbs here, dragging high shit down to fall all over and then grab em later one by tedious one. yet im supposed to

oh just fuck this. out of the las hour of 'discussion' half of it was me trying to not get interrupted. everythings going in boxes labeled 'shit to sort later'. im so outta here.

*yes, some of that time is interspersed with him helping me drive places, and for that i thank him. but what a fucking time for my elbow blow up to mega-super jawbreaker size.
and also.. side effect of him being around: loads of restaurant leftovers= nothing cooked in the house= frozen crap storage wearing thin= thank christo people get bored and also wanna order food.. which in itself= tons of takkeout, and i feel like an infarction coming on.

superman better be fucking godly, or else im gonna hate singer just for leaving

really. frasier is covered up decently, but still too far along the 'diistinguished gentleman' side of his persona. the actor cast should've had *some* heft to him.. he's tallish, but thats it. and you put a big mane on his head.. not the two-point 'do the classic blue beast had. it'll do i guess, but something is off overall. all i know is i'm less and less enthused.
[ugh sooo nerdy]

december 21. unfortunately for my geek side.. i'll be a little busy moving in/ choosing furniture/ etc etc. but hot damn.

also, it's coming to my attention theat the furniture i've been choosing is heinously overpriced. part of me wants to say *NYRRR* and buy it anyway, but dammit.. that demon named responsibility keeps rearing its ugly head. i think i could use the shooting down tho; some of it even *i* think is a little out there.. too 'boutique'ish. who wants to give me a ride to the more normal stores?

still wanna get the table tho. ;) we'll see; next up is a big bed conundrum.. but thats another post.
